This historic three-story wooden building features just eight guest rooms. While all are modern sukiya-style rooms furnished with beds, each one is unique in its layout, the mountain views from its windows, and the design details.
As you slide open the shoji screens in this corner room, an immersive panorama of lush seasonal greenery unfolds through the expansive windows, gently drawing you into nature. At the foot of the bed, elegant bamboo blinds create a refined, traditional Japanese boundary.
The deliberate "art of subtraction"—foregoing an in-room bath and toilet—enhances the room’s spaciousness and luxurious quiet, deepening the sense of a cozy, private sanctuary.
Moderate Twin Room 101
The most spacious and comfortable Moderate-class guest rooms in the annex. As you take in the delicate craftsmanship evident in every corner of the room, you can enjoy the crisp, fresh air of Tonosawa flowing in through the windows.
